naoyuki, cany ou have a look at this? Thx!
Comment 3 cno 2010-01-20 09:37:16 UTC
I have seen 'spreadsheet' in this listbox of the Dutch version.
I thought that was the only wrong word - the others are pretty much the same in
Dutch and English, so I didn't notice.
But obviously the same problem exists in the Dutch build.
Comment 4 andreschnabel 2010-01-20 17:24:47 UTC
removed KO, as seemingly all localizations are affected
Comment 5 jihui.choi 2010-01-20 17:31:58 UTC
Humm.. This is not about L10n module or something. It's just about a Korean
translation string.

 * Location : File > New > Database : Database Wizard
 * Original Text : Connect to an existing database
 * Current Translation : 기존 데이터베이스에 연결
 * Suggestion : 기존 데이터베이스에 연결하기
 * Reason : keep the consistency with other items.

@ cornouws :
"spreadsheet" should be there sinece "spreadsheed" is one of database.

@ andreschnabe :
I don't get the problem. I'm sorry, but would you explain for me?
Comment 6 cno 2010-01-20 18:38:28 UTC
@ jihui: Ah, what a misunderstanding and co-incidence :-)
The list box does show "spreadsheet". But in the translation it is "Werkblad".
Same for "Addressbook" vs "Adresboek"
All will be understood by Dutch-speaking users, but it is not correct.

And your original issue indeed is something different.

Comment 8 naoyuki 2010-01-21 06:30:05 UTC
I see the strings in this list are defined in
dbaccess/core/resource/strings.src, but they are not in pootle (po hand-off for
translaters has these as # commented out entries) at 3.2 translation time. There
is no way to handle this by l10n side.
Comment 9 rafaella.braconi 2010-01-21 10:07:12 UTC
ivo, can you look into why the resources are missing? Thx!

Comment 11 ocke.janssen 2010-01-22 07:23:38 UTC
The reason why the resource are missing is a wrong deliver entry in the d.lst in
the module connectivity.

to state it clearly: this breaks all OOo builds which have not explicitly set

Comment 20 rene 2010-01-29 11:57:16 UTC
Wednesday it was discussed to exchange the source tarballs for this. Will that
be done? If yes, when? (Assuming we release on Wednesday we need it on the
mirrors asap)
Comment 21 mdxonefour 2010-01-29 12:44:44 UTC
@rene: Due to Issue 107763 we might have to do the m12 anyway, not only
exchanging source.
Comment 22 hjs 2010-02-01 13:30:18 UTC
committed patch from Jan 26 to cws ooo321gsl02.
delivers now the required .xcu, either localized (WITH_LANG set) or en-US only
(WITH_LANG not set).

gh:

http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/67454/i107957_connectivity.patch

seems to be a reversed patch.

Otherwise, it looks okay to me (on MacOSX PowerPC Tiger, OOO320_m12)

Thanks!
