Description Rainer Bielefeld 2009-12-28 14:51:09 UTC
Crash or following recovery destroys hyperlinks in my CALC sheets, for example
<file:///C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Eigene%20Dateien/OpenOffice/FIRMA/PROJEKTE/0910_006_Mongos_Garden_Raumfuehler>
"mutates" to
file:///C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Eigene%20Dateien/OpenOffice/.....
Until now I only see this in CALC, and it seems that only the "active" sheet is
affected.
Until now I saw various variants, always a part of the path information like
<Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/>
became doubled.

Long time ago I saw something similar in Issue 17124.
Comment 1 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-12-31 07:55:40 UTC
Half of my working time I spend with backups and recovery from backups because
of this issue and Issue 107967. Repair from OS does not help.
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-12-31 12:52:22 UTC
I see the same with writer, linked images get the calamitous additional path
information.

Also a problem for linked images in WRITER
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld 2010-01-14 14:11:24 UTC
Same with "Ooo 3.2.0 RC2 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI activated
[OOo320m9 (Build 9476)]". OOo crashed when I clicked a link for an internal
Bookmark in a WRITER document, after that the links in a Spreadsheet I had
opened were destroyed.
That Problem can happen multiple times and have a result like
<file:///C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Rainer/Eigene%20Dateien/OpenOffice/FIRMA/FINANZEN/Nachkalkulation01-02.ods>
(same path information inserted multiple times)

May be I can contribute a crash report ID
Comment 5 Rainer Bielefeld 2010-01-20 06:30:57 UTC
As expected, I still see that problem in 3.2RC3, and still i did not find a
solution how to make it reproducible.
I will downgrade to 3.1.1 on Friday an ignore 3.2; I believe OOo3.2 is a A
threat to everyone who uses OOo for his business.
Let's hope for 3.3
Comment 6 Rainer Bielefeld 2010-01-21 13:37:49 UTC
For linked images in WRITER documents I frequently see the opposite effect,
after a crash parts of the path information are cut away.

I'm the reporter of Issue 112360. I'm experiencing the same problem under Ubuntu
Linux 10.10, OO.o 3.2 final (not RC). Reproducible at will, so please ask if you
want debugging.

"Confirmed by number of DUPs"
Modified OS due to DUPs
In Issue 111024 and here you can find hints how to reproduce under Linux / HP-UX
