Description Frank Schönheit 2010-01-05 21:58:01 UTC
- open the attached database document
- double-click the contained table
=> note that two of the rows do not have a value in the "val" column
- open the contained report for editing
- double-click the contained chart to activate it
- double-click the blue chart line to open the "Data Series" properties dialog
  for it
=> note the "Plot missing values" option is set to "Continue line"
- execute the report
=> in the resulting text document, at the points where the underlying "values"
table does not contain content in the "val" column, the data series is
plotted as if there were a "0" value in this row

Actually, if you open the resulting report for editing, and open the "Data
Table" dialog for the chart, you see that the SRB reporting engine in fact *did*
insert 0 where in the original data, there was no value. Which of course is
wrong - "no value" certainly carries another information than "value 0".

Please verify. Thanks.

When you open the report in design you have to make a double click on the chart
to update the preview.

verified in CWS dba33e

find more information about this CWS, like when it is available in the master
builds, in EIS, the Environment Information System:
