Description phate123 2010-01-07 21:10:47 UTC
hello,
i've found this issue today. I've got a new display and connected my MacBook Pro
via a HDMI-DVI-cable. (The HDMI-end is on the display-side of the cable)
As I opened OpenOffice the next time, the Start-up screen was totally messed up.
It looks like too large fonts and too big symbols. Additional all documents and
Calculations are opened with a 100% zoom. (Maybe this is another problem but it
started today, too, so i've mentioned it)

I've found out that this problem is causing to the hdmi-cable. If I connected
the display via a DVI-DVI-cable the problem was gone. Maybe this is a Mac OS
issue but I've searched all my programs for the same problem and didn't found
one. It looks like, that OpenOffice is producing large fonts, if the display is
connected via HDMI.

I've found a thread in the forum about the same problem, but there was no
solution since the start in May 09.

Is this still valid for OOo 3.3 RC7?
