Description jihui.choi 2010-01-09 22:03:57 UTC
In Math, to number equations, type "fn" and press F3.
However, in Korean edition, it doesn't works. An error box appears.
The error message is "AutoText for Shortcut '%1' not found."

I checked this problem in OOo 3.2.0 RC1 ko edition, windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10.
And it works correctly in OOo 3.1.1 portable En, windows 7 and 3.1.1 ubuntu 9.10
En.

Further info from IRC:
korean standard.bau seems to be broken.

Replacing it with the english standard.bau makes the standard-category appear
(of course with the english items).

reproducible by just using korean standard.bau in any language of OOo (e.g.
replace your standard.bau with the korean one from
http://hg.services.openoffice.org/DEV300/file/b9c9dd11b0a1/extras/source/autotext/lang/ko
→ no standard autotexts anymore)

confirming issue.
Comment 4 lohmaier 2010-01-09 23:56:17 UTC
ko/standard.bau contains a directory "K?" and that causes the failure.

It apparently is a encoding problem when it was converted from the german "KÜ"
at some point. (the "Kündigung" Autotext - also mangled in german version, but
without the bad side-effect)

The Autotext itself is already in the KU folder, thus the K? folder and contents
(and the corresponding entries in manifest.xml) should be removed.

Not an i18n localedata issue. Is the Korean l10n team responsible?

@sba: I have no idea who is responsible for localized AutoText and these
conversion problems nowadays. Maybe you have?
