select slide and drag it somewhere else ...
eating all system resources for minute or so

tried in 3.1.1, dev300_m67 and ubuntu 3.1.1
In all three half as bad (half a good ...) as in 3.2.0rc1

OOO320m8 on Win XP is much faster then the 3.1.1 on Ubuntu
And a real lot faster than OOO320m8 on Ubuntu
(Whyle XP is on an 6 yrs old laptop)

NOT reproducible with "Ooo-Dev 3.3.0 multilingual version English UI WIN XP:
[DEV300m69 (Build 9475)]" and a presentation with 32 empty slides! Linux
specific? Slide contents specific?

sorting on Windows is not really 'lightning fast'
but far better than on Linux.
So as far as I can see: a Linux related problem,
or a problem that is more noticable on Linux, of course

I can confirm it for
Ubuntu 10.04
OpenOffice.org 3.2.1

This is unusably slow.

in DEV300m83, working in one presentation, sometimes it is fast (OK), but
sometimes, still (very) slow ...
