Description q0k 2010-02-02 02:23:02 UTC
Some users would like to click instead of double-click to edit formulas. This is
faster. This should be an option.

This is not a valid report. What formulas are you talking about? Please
contribute a precise report in accordance to our guidelines!

I am sorry for my short obscure description. I'll try to be more precise:

Formulas can be inserted into documents by the "Insert - Object - Formula"
command. This command is available in all Open Office applications - Writer,
Impress, Draw, etc.

When a formula is inserted in a document, it can later be edited by double
click. However, single click would be faster. It could be a very useful option
for some students who write mathematical reports with lots of math equations in
them.
Comment 3 Rainer Bielefeld 2010-02-07 07:48:01 UTC
I agree. That could be handled as for text frames in WRITER:
- Click on object border: control points appear
- click into formula contents: edit formula mode starts

But this way of handling would be different to all other objects, so I doubt
that that feature can be added easily
