.pptx document consist of a single slide is loading from 4 min (Windows XP) to 
6 min (SLES Intel). Tested on SUSE Linux Intel/Sparc Solaris/Windows XP Intel. 
Slide could be provided on request (have not find a way to attach it to issue).
