Description cctsurf 2010-02-14 04:30:55 UTC
No KDE4 integration at all, I'm running 4.4 (from the backports repository)
under kubuntu 9.10, and running OO3 (from your official installation .deb
packages) from the commandline produces the following error:
/opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice.bin: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4: undefined symbol:
_ZN7KGlobal23unregisterStaticDeleterEP18KStaticDeleterBase
Noteably, /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 references what looks like an old file, there
is also a libkdeui.so.5 in that directory, and it is more recent (when I
installed 4.4).
Thanks for a great product!
James

this isn't a problem of the KDE 4 integration at all, because upstream OOo is
not build with it, only downstream (your distro's compilation). Watch issue
