Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 10935
Problems with tables with negative spacing.
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
I created a table in a writer document which was shifted a bit to the left compared to the page margins. When I tried to set the column widths to exact values, the program behaves very unpredictable. It sets the table and column widths to negative values. Steps to reproduce the bug: - Create a new table - Go to Menu -> Format -> Table - In the tab Table set Alignment to Manual - Set the field "Spacing Left" to -1 cm - In the tab Columns change the column width of any column to 2 cm - Click OK - See the Result - Go again to Menu -> Format -> Table - All column widths have the value -97.6 cm I observed the bug in OOo 643C on SuSE Linux 8.1 and in OOo 1.0.1 on Windows 2000 and SuSE Linux 8.1. Creating a table with negative spacing using the mouse works properly. I thank all programmers who helped developing OOo. I like it very much, Samuel
I reproduced the bug also with OOo 1.1. Beta on SuSE 8.1.
I reproduced the bug also in OOo 1.1 Beta2. I will attach a document created in the way described above.
Created attachment 6754 [details] Problem with a Table. Created with OOo 1.1 Beta2
Thank you for using and supporting OOo. Duplicated on RH 9.0, OOo 1.1 Beta 2.
Reassigned to MRU
MRU->OS: when having negative left table indent, there seems to be a calczlation error, when the column widths are changed.
Fixed in cws os18 sw/source/ui/table/tabledlg.cxx
.
Checked fix in interna CWS os18.
Verified. Fix will be available with OO 2.0.
