Description taskbar 2010-02-24 15:03:33 UTC
When filling all cells with a formula "=(row()&column()", calc crashes. 100%
reproducable.

Although not a realistic scenario, it is possibly an indicator for other
problems as well.

Exact version is OOO320m12 (Build:9483) with JRE.
PC Configuration:
- ACER Aspire M3641
- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40 GHz
- 4 GB RAM

Steps to reproduce:

1) Enter =(row()&column() into A1

2) Copy A1 to the clipboard (Edit/Copy)

3) Select the entire spreadsheet with Control-A

4) Edit/Paste

Calc will try to do this operation, but eventually crash. Taskmanager showed an allocation of over 1.7 GB before crashing, so this looks like memory exhaustion and 32-bit process limitation.

Not much we can do here other than possibly warning a user before they attempt an operation this large.
