Description Dotan Cohen 2010-02-25 09:16:51 UTC
Writer cannot show numbers and RTL text together vertically.

Steps to reproduce:
1* Open a new document (LTR or RTL, both are affected)
2* Create 10x1 table (10 columns, 1 row)
3* In one of the cells paste this info (without quotes):
"""
דותן כהן
054-7881700
""""
4* Select the entire table
5* Format -> Character -> Position -> Rotation -> 90 degress

Note that in RTL-enabled systems, by playing with the LTR/RTL settings I can get
the text _or_ the numbers to be vertical, but not both.

Confirmation of this behaviour on Mac (OOo 3.2 Dutch on iMac Intel Max OS X 10.5.8).
To me it seems that rotating text doesn't work for RTL text.

Confirmed in OOo 3.1.1 Win XP Pro. Here part of the RTL gets rotated and part
doesn't.

OP here, I should have mentioned my platform as well: Kubuntu 9.10
