Dev300m74, engl. with german lang.-pack, Win XP, default options

Open Writer Doc
Create Textframe by using T Button in Drawing-Toolbar
Write some words into it (e.g. "just a few words to show the effect")
Mark "effect" by double-klick
Move "effect" by drag and drop to the beginning of the sentence

Same effect in Calc, Draw, Impress and older OOo-Versions (2.4, 3.1)
