Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 110334
Lockfile is created when opening file readonly
Last modified: 2014-01-29 15:05:46 UTC
If you set the flag to open a file readonly by default (Extras -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> Securtiy -> Open this file readonly) OpenOffice creates lockfile as soon as the file is opened. This differs from the behaviour, when an editable file is switched to readonly manually (via toolbar): The lockfile will be removed. To reproduce: - Save attached file. - Open it. - Look for the correponding lockfile (.~lock.Readonly-file.odt#).
Created attachment 68499 [details] Testfile will be opened readonly
Sorry, tested with OOo 3.2 But is also reproducable with OOo 3.1.1 (Windows and Linux).
