Writer saves new documents too slowly (even when only the new changes in a long
document are saved). The process of exporting to "doc" is also too slow. And the
third thing which is too slow according to me is the opening of "doc" files, For
example, a 110 pages 'doc' file in MS Word 2007 is opened for a second, the same
file in OO Writer is opened for 5-7 seconds...

Please give exact metrics when you say "too slow"
Especially please attach such a document.
If there is yes a difference between 1 and 5-7 seconds, 5-7 seconds is really
acceptable...
