When we copy eg. small amount of html page (max A4 page) copy-paste works ok,
but when we copy an 
larger amount of data eg. A4*3 (freshmeat.net) then OO freezes (sometimes X need
restart).
I think that this won't be a hard to patch....since it copies ok smaller amount
of data.

This kind of copy paste works on Windows (98 & XP)

Somebody reproduced it on Linux and Solaris?

I forgot to say that I'm using Linux so :
This don't work under Linux as it should.More data->more problems, oo
freezes (sometimes X too ).
Just go to freshmeat.net -> select all -> copy -> paste into oo writer.
Testing environment :
PIII 1200 512MB Ram , NVIDIA GeForce 440Mx with nvidia driver, hdd
36GB free space.
Distros : RH 7.3 , RH 8.0, Debian 3.0 , Mandrake 9.0
OO : 1.0.2
Mozilla : 1.21
Kernels :  2.4.21-pre4 (all distros), 2.4.19 (all distros)

Now, I've just tried 1.1 beta and it's terrible :( 
Test machine is PIII with 512MB , RedHat 7.3 with kernel 2.4.21-pre4
and kernel 2.4.19

Copy-Paste operations between mozilla-OO doesn't work, sometimes it
freezes X .
This kind of stuff work in windows.

That means that I cannot do next things:
1.type freshmeat.net in mozilla -> Select All -> Copy
2.In SWriter Edit-Paste (or Paste Special)

If I select few lines of text (not all text, just few lines) , I can
paste it with middle mouse button.

There are known bugs in regard to copy&paste transfers from Linux to
Mozilla and KDE.  Reference Issue 483.  One work around is to copy to
and paste from a text editor in between the applications.

I adjusted the priority from P1 to P3.  This might be an issue that
they won't (can't) fix, because it may be something that Mozilla needs
to address.  I am not sure, so I did not change the status of this issue.

Hi zeljan,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice...

I tried to copy the content of the following page into Writer:
    "http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/guidelines.html"

I got in trouble because that page is build out of tables which cells 
are larger than 1 page...
A table cell can't be taller or wider than a page in writer, which is 
a known limitation!
I think this is a double of issue 2109!

It's a double of 2109 and the work on it has started so I'm closing...
