Description parity 2010-06-02 18:33:02 UTC
Hello,

in the new comment function of Impress, it is not possible to scroll with the
mouse wheel. In Writer-comments this is perfectly working.

I assigned this issue to "wg". Please change this, if this is wrong.

Sorry, I think it should be assigned to cl

Sure this is a desirable function for the impress comments. But does Writer not
always display the complete comment?
Comment 3 parity 2010-06-03 10:11:10 UTC
Writer always displays the whole comment when it is not exceeding one page. If
it exceeds one page, it is mouse-scrollable.

I was able to replicate using OOo –dev 3.3.0 DEV300m78 (Build:9501)
Windows XP Service pack 3
Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks

To Reproduce
 1. Insert a comment into an Impress document
 2. Add enough lines in comment so vertical scroll bar displays (11 lines
should do)
3 Try using scroll wheel on mouse. Nothing happens

Since the scroll wheel works when you are viewing a slide in Impress, I
expected the beahviour to work the same throughout the Impress product.

I also tried scrolling using my laptops TouchPad & TrackPoint and the behaviour
was the same.

Note: You can scroll in a comment in Powerpoint.
