The program does not allow to insert an endnote directly into image captions (no
idea why, though). If you insert an endnote into the regular document, cut it
and paste it into the image caption, the whole thing crashes, always. 

Two options: either tell the user that the action is not permitted or (what I
would prefer) allow to insert endnotes into image captions.
