Upon opening a new spreadsheet I select the whole column (by clicking "A") and press cmd+C or cmd+X. 
Openoffice freezes for 1 minute (Core 2 Duo, 3GHz, 4 GB RAM) using 100% processor time. Sometimes 
crashes.

This is may be associated with copying 65K cells, because selecting 30K cells freezes the program for 
shorter.

I identified the problem, it was clipboard history tracker (Launchbar in my case, with "Clipboard history" 
enabled). Disabling "Clipboard history" solved the problem.

The problem, however, does not appear in Excel or Numbers.

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
