Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 113343
Openoffice hangs or wont start
Last modified: 2019-12-15 22:32:52 UTC
If I start up my mac, OpenOffice 3.2.1[320m18 (Build:9502)] starts up (Icon in the dock). But OOO isnt in my StartUpObjects ... So, if I want to open an Document (.ods, .odf, .doc, .xls, .csv and so an) in OOO, nothing happens. Nothing happens by doubleclicking on a file or by drag a file onto the application in the dock. Normally quitting OpenOffice is not possible, if I force quit the app, it starts up again immediately. Restarting the Mac doesnt help. 3.2 didnt show this "feature".
A warning asking me to restart because it quit unexpectedly wont restart and i can’t close it I have to force quit. I can’t get to my documents unless i copy paste them.
I have Sierra 10.12.5 and I cannot get rid of this The last time you opened OpenOffice.org, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?
