Description etrex 2010-07-25 17:47:49 UTC
Opening a Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 pptx presentation file under OpenOffice.org
3.2 fails to correctly display the plots within the presentation and the lines
of the drawing seem to be shifted away. Please find attached the offending pptx
file, and the pdf printouts as it was rendered by Microsoft Powerpoint and
OpenOffice.org Impress.

thanks!

text properties rendering example, line ending coordinates
Comment 4 etrex 2010-12-17 13:13:39 UTC
The text properties are not set: for example the axis labels render without
overlap in MS Powerpoint. See attached example, where on the first plot I set
the x label axis not to overlap, so it brakes under the columns.

Also, it seems, that the endpoint coordinates of the lines are not mapped
accurately in the conversion process: in MS Powerpoint, the lines on the second
page graphs intersect, while OpenOffice renders them with gaps between them.

thanks

also, it seems that line properties on the second page plots are also lost, just
like some text properties: the original dashed lines seem to become solid gray
lines.

thanks

I think I'm having a similar issue. A presentation created in Power Point 07 does not function or display properly in OpenOffice. Some pictures appear as an entire screen shot, others with captions where a text box was created over a picture the text box is moved to another location on the page.
