Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 113552
SubForms are not working at all in newer versions
Last modified: 2010-11-19 13:19:30 UTC
SubForms are always empty (no data). Main form is OK. Each type of subforms were tested (table, fields etc.) Previous versions of openoffice base are working correctly with the same odb file, same jdbc connector and same mysql database. The difference is only with OpenOffice version. Using: MySql 5.1.49 server on Windows XP SP3 server JDBC mysql-connector-java-5.1.13-bin.jar connector Open office base as the presentation layer Please fix this asap since my application is not working at all without subforms after upgrade.

sorry - the attachment is wrong.... Also shows no rows under OOo3.1.1 which works ok with the subforms.
not a P1
@wilq I made two changes to the file using 3.2 - In the dialog Edit>Database>Advanced Settings I disabled checking for required fields. In the form I changed how the link was formed. I'll attach the file, I think this is what you are looking for given the table structure.

Thanx. Unfortunatelly, as I wrote earlier this is not a problem in file but with MYSQL database. This does not solve that issue. Sorry for that attachement. The problem still exists when connecting to the database. All the other forms are working all right, but subforms are not.... They remain always empty under version 3.2 or earlier. They are working very well until the version 3.1.1 and not any more.
