Description wolframgarten 2010-08-05 11:14:09 UTC
Have the Offfice running as backing window.
Use File/Wizards/Presentation and click create: the impress doc opens up in an
own window, leaving the backing window in the back.
Using the closer (X) to close the impress doc closes the backing window, too.
This worked in 3.2.1.

cl->af: please have a look
cl->cd: do you know of any framework changes who could have caused this?
Comment 2 carsten.driesner 2010-08-05 12:33:10 UTC
cd: Set mav on CC. Do you have a clue?

cd->cl: I am not aware of any change related to the described problem. This
sounds very strange.
Comment 3 carsten.driesner 2010-08-05 13:58:08 UTC
cd: Set regression keyword.
Comment 4 carsten.driesner 2010-08-05 15:10:53 UTC
cd: First info about this issue. The wizard creates a new frame via
Desktop::findFrame(...) using "_blank" as the target frame name. That is not
allowed when the Office has an enabled start module (backing window). "_self"
would reuse the backing window and nothing wrong would happen. Why did somebody
change this behavior of the Wizard?
Comment 5 groucho266 2010-08-17 15:54:38 UTC
The "_blank" target comes from SfxViewFrame::LoadViewIntoFrame_Impl_NoThrow() in
sfx2/source/view/viewfrm.cxx. It is used unconditionally and thus can not be
overruled by the Impress wizard.

@mav: Any ideas of how to fix that?
Comment 6 mikhail.voytenko 2010-08-18 15:51:42 UTC
Fixed in cws fwk153.
Comment 7 carsten.driesner 2010-08-19 10:36:10 UTC
cd->wg: Please verify.
Comment 8 wolframgarten 2010-08-26 12:52:00 UTC
Verified in CWS.
