Description batchheizer 2010-08-20 14:47:19 UTC
Using a database from within writer (F4) I cannot use basic hot-keys to copy and
paste (Ctrl+V etc.) text into or from fields of the database-table. Context-menu
works fine.

This problem appears on my Asus EEE (OOo: 2.4.3) and on my eCS/OS/2 (OOo: 3.2.0,
2.4.0).
The developer of the OS/2-port confirmed it as crossplattform-problem.

My test on win7 with OOO330m5.
- to reproduce it open any odt file
- F4, open any registered database table, for example biblio
- select any text from document, CTRL+C
- select memo field the CTRL+V, you can insert into it into memo type fileds
- select text field, CTRL+V will not work, but from context menu you can insert

In other file with built-in HSQLDB

@batchheizer
What file you used, built in HSQLDB, or connected to external server/text file?
What data type you tested?

odt is a normal text-document.
database is dbase (UTF-8 encoded).
> What data type you tested?
Only dbase.

I hope this helps.

Using go-oo 3.2.1 / Lucid - dbase datasource, Writer file with data controls - I
can not duplicate this problem.

I'll check 2.4.3 under HP Mi later but only post here if the problem arises there.

The problem still happens in AOO 3.4.1 and Dev 4.0 (3.5). I tested under win 8 only.
