Description issues@www 2001-06-29 19:09:10 UTC
I have used version 627 and 632, both of them found problem about input graphic
from scanner. First I mention the scanner is OK for other programs. But when
using (OpenOffice-Text Document) Inser->Graphic->scan->request, it invokes the
scan Dialog then I start scan function. After scan, the Dialog closed. But
nothing go into the working page. I tried many times and different setting, the
page is always empty, it never works. This is a very good software. Left this
minor problem. I wish you could fix this bug to make it to be perfect.
Thank you.

If fixing this makes it perfect, it's worth having a look... ;-)
Comment 2 stefan.baltzer 2001-07-06 16:01:59 UTC
It works for us a 633p.
Please verify with a later build.

If it still will not work for you then, please give further details on your
system (what scanner, driver, ...)

Hello,
I have just installed build-633. The same problem as built 632. I
immediately invoke Adobe acrobat scan function to test my scanner and
enviroment, it was OK. Therefore I am sure there still a bug in build-633
that could not bring the scanned graphic into the working sheet.
I wish you could try more scanners in order to verify it. My scanner is
AV820C from www.avision.com/usa/main.htm and I tested it on Windows 2000,
the driver was download from its web site.
Thank you.

SBA->MBA: Please help me to ask the right questions in order to figure
out what's wrong without having the hardware.
Comment 7 Mathias_Bauer 2002-12-09 08:53:17 UTC
Sorry, I have not any knowledge about scanning. Perhaps KA or PL can
help here?!
Comment 8 ooo 2002-12-09 10:57:04 UTC
KA: I have no possibility to test this specific scanner.
Comment 9 christian.guenther 2003-02-13 14:16:14 UTC
Unfortunately we don't have this scanner. That's why we can't
reproduce the bug. We test the scanning with several different scanner
and fixed a bug for HP-scanner. Please test in the OOo1.1Beta if this
also fix your problem.
Comment 10 christian.guenther 2003-05-10 20:15:16 UTC
The OOo 1.1 Beta is released.
Please tell me if the bug still exist.
