Description greenmoss 2003-02-12 15:29:48 UTC
I will attach the doc. Open it in Office 97, then in openoffoce. The formatting
does not match. The openoffice version of the formatting makes the document
unusable in openoffice.

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

1.0.3.1 has problems importing the document.

1.1 Beta 2 does a much better job.

The key issue is the continuous section break with a different
margin. OOo does not support this feature.
Comment 3 prgmgr 2003-06-27 05:25:06 UTC
PM->HI: Is section breaks with different margins going to be
         addressed in 2.x?
Comment 4 h.ilter 2003-06-30 10:28:23 UTC
Reassigned to MRU
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2003-06-30 16:05:41 UTC
Yes, sections with different margins will be implemented in OO 1.1 RC.
Comment 6 michael.ruess 2003-06-30 16:11:45 UTC
MRU->AMA: There's one little issue left (in my opinion).
There are two (empty) paragraphs below the frame. Thesw have an indent
of 4 cm and first line indent of 1,27cm. Thus, the frame is not
wrapped by these paragraphs. I think, this does not make sense and
should be changed. Then this Document will be 100% import.
Comment 7 andreas.martens 2003-07-23 16:21:35 UTC
No, I don't agree. There's not enough space between textbox and page
margin for the indent of those two empty paragraphs. The consequence
is that they are placed under the textbox. If you take a look at this
document in Word and type a few characters in the empty paragraph
you'll see some strange behaviour.
We will have a deeper look at the indent and textbox wrap behaviour
and see what we can do even I'm sceptic.

Not a major issue. Re-targeted to "OO later".
