Description jiesa 2010-09-15 03:03:17 UTC
I am using the Macbook trackpad pinch gestures to zoom in/out of documents
(text, spreadsheet, etc).

My issue is that the zoom is way too sensitive.

Suggested fix: I would like to either have the zoom sensitivity lowered
globally, or have an option put into the Preferences allowing the user to choose
the zoom sensitivity.

Currently, when I use other programs, for example Firefox, I have to spread my
fingers maybe 1/2" (roughly 150-200 pixels) to zoom in one step. Conversely, in
OpenOffice, about one pixel's worth of mouse movement zooms in one step. It is
very difficult to move two fingers apart at the same time by one pixel, and
actually I have to just roll my fingers by a hair's breadth. Consequently, it
takes about 6 tries (at the very least) to get the zoom right each time I want
to change the zoom by one step.

Already fixed. Try OOo330 or one of its release candidate.
