Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 114917
Improper 'font name' reporting on font conversion
Last modified: 2014-03-06 13:46:08 UTC
The attached file includes a sample asian text (line 2) with Telugu (Pothana2000 font), Grantha (e-Grantha font), and Kannada (Arial Unicode MS) scripts, all unicode. Upon selecting the line 2 and changing to Tohama which does not support any of the above scripts, the glyphs are rendered from a font which 'I have no way of finding out'. Placing cursor anywhere on the converted line 'falsely' reports the font as Tahoma while Tahoma does not support any of these scripts.

The behaviour is also observed in 'presentation' application.
