(1) Type "a b c"
(2) Underline the sequence "a b".
(3) Bold the letter 'b'.

Everything looks fine on the screen, but print to PDF and the underline now
extends into the space before 'c'.

Update: I get the same result printing, so this is not problem specific to PDF
export.
