Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 116071
big round bullets not correctly saved
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:48:17 UTC
The big round bullets in e.g. slide 2, when the presentation is saved as .ppt, and shown in MS Powerpoint viewer 2010, are represented by a kind of curly graphics symbol. Other bullets used in the presentation are shown correctly.
Sorry, not reproducible (please see screenshot). Are you sure you have all the required fonts installed?

It is on the same computer. If the .ppt specifies the same font as used in the .odp, then yes it is installed, otherwise OOo would not be able to show the bullets correctly. But suppose the .ppt specifies a different font to ensure compatibility on systems that don't have OOo installed (and the fonts that come with it), then I wonder if maybe that font is installed with MS Office but not with just MS Powerpoint Viewer? Then with MS Office installed on your system the bullets would show correctly. Just guessing...
Reassigned. @sj: any opinion to this?
