Created a DB w/ 4 fields; Date, 2 numeric fields, and a currency field.  Entered
some data, and created a query to report on a date range, sorted on one numeric
field and displaying the monetary values.  Created a second query to sum the
monetary values according to the numeric field.  The second query resulted in
incorrect values for the sums.

What is two query in your odb file which has different results?
I see no problems with any of them.
One query sums with categories, another creates total for whole table.

You may close this issue out.  I went "brain dead" when I thought I had a
problem.  The problem is with me.
