Description spowers2004 2011-03-05 03:02:14 UTC
I am using OOo-dev 3.4.0 DEV300m98

I was working with a table in Impress and after changing the left ‘spacing to content’ value I was not able to undo the change without first deselecting the table. When I first changed the left spacing value in by choosing Table
Properties->Borders->”Spacing to contents”, I clicked OK and the full table was automatically selected. I did not want to keep the changes so I attempted to “Undo” the value change and I was not able to until I clicked outside of the table. This behavior was not user friendly because I didn’t think I was going to be able to undo the spacing value change.

Replication Steps:

1. Start a new presentation in OpenOffice
2. Create a table (Selecting Insert -> Table)
3. Leave the Default number of columns and rows and click OK.
4. Type the text “Hello World” in the first cell.
5. Select Table Properties under the Table Toolbar
6. Change the left spacing value to 1.00”
7. Click OK
8. Attempt to undo the action by pressing Ctrl+Z or clicking Edit->Undo
Notice the action cannot be undone until you click outside of the table.

I would suggest either automatically deselect the table when the Table Properties dialog closes or allow the user to undo their action after noticing the change.

Thank you,
-Sean Powers

Comment 2 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2012-06-13 12:25:37 UTC
getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
