Description swissmann 2011-04-05 16:01:06 UTC
In a spreadsheet, word processing document, presentation, and draw if you hold down the Command Key (Macintosh) and scroll on your mouse (mine is an Apple Magic Mouse) the page scale zooms in or out. I understand that is is probably an intentional behavior, but I find it very problematic.

The problem comes usually because the mouse scrolls with inertia. So if I flick the mouse and then hit a shortcut like Command-S to save the page also zooms/scales and I have to keep resetting it back to 100%.

It would be great if I could turn off this zooming with the mouse scroll. Or if the combination required something like Command-Shift-Mouse Scroll.

We find we spend enough time trying to zoom back to 100% that we have seriously considered switching applications. It happens all the time and ends up being very time consuming. Searching the web found other's also seeking an alternative like NeoOffice.

I've marked it a P5 because I know it isn't critical but I feel like it effects my workflow enough to be a P1 in my book.

Thanks for your efforts!
