OOO-Dev3.4. When I execute File->Wizrads->Address Data Source..., and select KDE address book, the resulting database/address data source is empty, although I have at least 80 records in the KDE addressbook. This scenario worked in OOO 3.3.
Comment 1 jgsylvester 2011-06-05 09:51:13 UTC
Correction: This functionality does not work in OOO 3.3 .
Comment 2 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2012-06-13 12:23:58 UTC
getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.

The KDE address book API only supported KDE versions from 3.2 until 3.6, and 3.6 was released in 2008, the OP made this bug report in 2011 when KDE version was AFTER 3.6, which is why it broke.

It was probably a mistake to ever support address books with such an unstable API, and we deleted KDE address book support in 2017:

Remove the obsolete KDE address book SDBC driver, that only worked on
KDE 3.2 - 3.6, which are obsolete since 9 years ago.

Resolving obsolete. Thank you for your bug report. Please access the address book using a different method.
