Description Travis 2011-10-21 03:34:25 UTC
To recreate the bug/defect go to insert->table and create a table that has decent size to it(we chose 15 x 15,which is not asking too much). Anything above this size will make the problem increasingly worse, at some point also resulting in a crash of Impress, which could potentially lose changes to the file and cause massive frustration from the user.

The program will take way too long to load the table and the table will severely lag the program. The user must wait seconds to even move the table around in the slide. When done it was even took way too long to delete the table to try and stabilize performance. The bigger the table, the more crippling the lag will be until it ends up just crashing at around 20x20-25x25 size tables.

This is unacceptable performance and would affect the customer that wants to show raw data in table form and would have a very hard time trying to put a presentation together.

I can confirm it, slow work with 20x20, and slower with 25x25 tables, in OOo 3.3 anf OOo 3.4 Beta.
The inserted 25x25 table move hang OOo 3.4Bets to 30s, no crash, CPU usage 50% during hang.

But it is duplicate.
