Description zhongqiyao 2012-02-24 08:55:43 UTC
OpenOffice Calc version: 3.3 (latest official release)
Operating System version: Microsoft Windows 7
Language of OO and OS: Chinese (traditional)

Operation:

1. Make sure there is one cell partially off the right edge of the screen.
2. Click that cell into edit mode.
3. Type into that cell so that you cursor *would have* moved beyond the right edge of the screen.

PROBLEM: In Windows 7, the cursor has really moved outside the right edge, and type letters are invisible. In Windows XP, the cursor wraps to the next line in the visible area, even though it should not have wrapped if the whole cell was visible.

EXPECTATION:
After either step 2 or step 3 (depending on which is better), the cell should scroll into full visibility.

EXCEPTION:
Of course, if the cell exceeds the width of the screen, or the height of the screen, this would not be possible.

Thanks.

Do you have set Windows 7 to use an extended desktop?

step 3 - text is wrapped and characters are visible.
