Description Shan Zhu 2012-04-19 08:41:13 UTC
Build info: r1325589
OOo3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 do not have this problem.

Steps:
1. New a file in Presentation (current view should be Normal view).
2. Press F7 to open Spelling dialog to do spell check.
(Because there is no misspelling, a message will popup)
3. Click "Yes" button on the first popup messagebox.
4. Click "OK" button on the second popup messagebox.

Issue:
The current view will be switched to Slide Master view automatically.

I have replicated this bug as Shan Zhu described, but I have also triggered it where there *is* a mis-spelling. My steps were:

1. Open AOO 3; click Presentation;
Wizard step 1: accept Empty presentation and other defaults (by clicking Next);
Wizard step 2: select Presentation background  <original> (though it’s possible to select nothing at all!), then accept defaults by clicking Next;
Wizard step 3: accept defaults by clicking Create.
2. (Auto Spellcheck button on toolbar is On by default) Stay in Normal view; in either slide title or text, type “speling”.
3. Click Spelling (F7) button on toolbar; AOO shows popup that “speling” not in dictionary and offers suggestions.
4. Click Ignore all; AOO then displays popup “spellcheck... completed”; Click OK.
5. Click Spelling (F7) button on toolbar again; AOO shows “null” spellcheck popup overlaid with second popup “...has searched to end... Do you want to continue at beginning?”.
6. Click Yes; AOO again displays popup “spellcheck... completed”.
7. Click OK; but AOO then goes into Master view, which I agree is illogical and is very likely to irritate users.

I got similar behaviour with another route involving Ignore once and Resume.

I used AOO 3.4.0 version 340m1 Build 9590 rev. 1325589. My machine is Toshiba tablet PC, Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.1 GHz with 2.0 Gb RAM & running 32-bit Windows Vista Business (with Service Pack 2).

I reproduced Shan's problem against AOO 3.4 published build on Windows XP.
