simple example

create a new file
write a text that needs two lines
select text and choose animation
only the very first line is animated, the othe one remains solid.

see attachment.

This looks like a nasty regression from OOo 3.3.

A text area with several bullet points longer than one line works fine in 3.3, but gets badly hashed when the animation runs in AOO 3.4.

Try the attached sample with both versions.

I'm having exactly the same problem. It occurs in new and existing files alike and spoils some existing presentations.

Ok, I see now what's happening.

The text area on the slide contains four _paragraphs_, but the animation is only working with the first four _lines_ of text. The lines below that are not animated at all and appear first, by themselves. The slide seems corrupted, but maybe the problem is simpler than it looks.

Your presentation is OK, it is a bug in AOO3.4.
This bug will be fixed in AOO3.4.1.
