steps:
1.launch oo and new a presentation
2.input some text in one slide
3.enable custom animation box to click "Add...",switch to "motion paths" and select "circle" effect

defect:
after set the effect,you will find a circle image is inserted in the slide.

That is no defect, but a feature :)
The circle is not shown in presentation mode. If the circle was not visible in edit mode, you would not be able to access it. You need to access the circle to change its size and position or to transform it.
