Description openoffice 2012-12-06 16:50:30 UTC
I use only two databases,
both established via the "connect to an existing database" option.

When used frequently,
they both appear under the "Open an existing database file" option.

If I do not use them for a while
(days, during which I am using other aoo apps like calc and writer),
one or more of them disappears from the "Recently used" list.

I suspect this may be a result of the aoo "recently used" history being a
union of files from all aoo apps.

I would suggest modifying the history behavior to maintain not the
maximum history limit of files from the union of all aoo apps, but maintain
the union of applying the maximum history limit to each individual file
type or at least app type. It's a trivial amount space, and allows any
individual history list to retain a relevant amount of information.

For display, one would then select all relevant files from the total history,
and then truncate that to the max history limit.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 (x64)
Apache Open Office 3.4.1 AOO341m1 Build 9593 Rev 1372282

I also changed field "Component" in "ui" and field "Latest confirmation" in "AOO.3.4.1"

I don't changed field "Platform" set to "All" because I think ui manages "recently used history" as generic behavior in all platform.
