M command followed be multiple pairs of coordinates

The specification says in chapter "19.145 draw:enhanced-path" for the command M, "Start a new sub-path at the given (x,y) coordinate. If a moveto is followed by multiple pairs of coordinates, they are treated as lineto."

But those lines are not drawn, see attached example. The drawing should result in a kite, but is empty. The object is there, see Navigator, but the lines are not drawn.
