Note that the same equation from the same document just looks perfect under windows XP. This document has plenty of such equations with underbrace/overbrace and they look all terrible under windows 8 and perfect under windows xp. Here is the math code: "" C(S,t) = func e^{-r (T-t)} int from - infinity to + infinity {(x - K)^"+" f^"*"(x) dx } newline "" phantom{C(S,t)} = func e^{-r (T-t)} {int from - infinity to K {(x - K)^"+" f^"*"(x) dx }} underbrace {(x-K)^"+" = 0, forall x <= K} { int from K to + infinity {(x - K)^"+" f^"*"(x) dx }} underbrace {(x-K)^"+" = x-K, forall x > K} newline "" phantom{C(S,t)} = func e^{-r (T-t)} int from K to + infinity {(x - K) f^"*"(x) dx } I am so glad I kept a Windows XP box to use Ooo :). Regards François Vanzeveren``` Chinonso 2013-11-14 21:19:07 UTC `I was able to recreate the defect in windows 8, then I proceeded to test it in windows XP and It worked fine. Why it does this, I have no idea.` Chinonso 2013-11-15 01:10:41 UTC `For now, the only work around to this problem is, the one your using right now or wait for a new release of the software.` Marcus 2017-05-20 10:45:33 UTC `Reset the assignee to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".`
