Created attachment 80137 [details]
Image shows a selected cell with Courier New selected as font type. The cell's content is actually displayed in Arial.

1. Select a whole column or a single cell that has content.
2. Set the font type to a font different from the default, either by using the tool bar or by using 'Format Cells'.
3. Some of the cells keep showing the default font, even though the tool bar shows that they are actually formatted differently.

It's 10.7.5 (Lion).

I've tried this on Windows 7 and it's not reproducible. So, maybe a problem only on MacOS or at least Unix-based.
