Running a spell check on a wrong word that is just before a period (i.e., last word in a sentence) will delete the period if "Change all" is used to correct the word.

To reproduce:

1) New Writer document, language set to English
 
2) Type "This text contains a wrong worrd. Testing."

3) Run the spellchecker (F7); it suggests to replace "worrd" with "word"; click "Change All" and the period is removed.

Expected result: "This text contains a wrong word. Testing."
Actual result  : "This text contains a wrong word Testing."

Note: using simply "Change" will work correctly.
