Build :AOO400m2(Build:9701)  -  Rev. 1489073
on Win7 OS /Mac OS/ Redhat 64-bit

Step:
1. New a writer 
2. Input two picture from Gallery 
3. Select two picture by shift key

Issue:
fail to select two picture

but in Calc and Writer , it passed

"Input" means "Insert"

> 3. Select two picture by shift key

This might mean: while pressing the key SHIFT, click on each picture with the mouse in order to select both.

in Calc and Draw/Impress, but not in Writer.

This has nothing to do with the Gallery. The same happens if you insert two pictures from the Insert menu (Insert - Picture - From File...).

This is reproducible in OOo 3.0.0 OOO300m9

I guess this counts among the differences in graphic objects in Writer, and graphic object shapes in Draw/Impress/Calc

ALG: @Ariel, yes, probably true. Should work with multiple draw graphic shapes.

@Armin: Shift-click of drawings is broken too, see bug 118137 and its duplicates.
