Summary: Dictionaries not downloadable

Hi Open Office Dictionaries - http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries

* When attempting to download some dictionaries from webpage > http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries < , many links to dictionaries are broken * I have sampled some common dictionaries that many people would want to download and I present the results of those samples below >

* Links that do work (Spelling) >

1) English (United Kingdom) 2006-11-30 > "en_GB.zip" points to > http://en-gb.pyxidium.co.uk
2) English (Australia) 2008-09-25 > "en_AU.zip" points to > http://chopod.net

* Links that do-not work (Spelling) >

1) English (United States) 2006-02-07 > "en_US.zip" points to > ftp.services.openoffice.org.
2) English (Canada) 2002-03-15 > "en_CA.zip" points to > ftp.services.openoffice.org.
3) English (New Zealand) 2002-05-18 > "en_NZ.zip" points to > ftp.services.openoffice.org.
4) English (South Africa) 2006-01-20 > "en_ZA.zip" points to > ftp.services.openoffice.org.
5) English (OED English) 2005-06-13 > "en_GB-oed" points to > ftp.services.openoffice.org.

* These links are just a sampling of all the dictionaries listed on the page and I know that there are many more broken links to these dictionaries *

* Please make corrections to this page (and other pages if necessary) to fix these broken links * I look forward to downloading some more dictionaries when the links are fixed *

Thanks

Mac

On that page there is stated that the page is obsolete and that you have to download dictionaries via the Extensions Repository.

@Reporter:
What exactly is your problem?

This is a duplicate of issue 122531, where I actually posted the same answer as Rainer. Let's follow-up there if needed.
