Thank you. Confirmed on Rev. 1507307. Opens OK in Word 2007.
Reproducible with reporter's sample document and "AOO 4.0.0 – German UI / German locale [AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704 2013-07-16 14:54:56 (Di, 16 Jul 2013)]" on German German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User Profile: 1. Launch AOO 2. Menu 'Files -> Open -> Browse for sample document -> <Open>' Expected: Simply opens (as it does in LibO 4.0.3 or MS WORD Viewer) Actual: ASCII Filter Options dialog appears Additional Info: a)Other office programs (LibO, SoftMaker FreeOffice open reporter's sample document without problems b) worked fine with AOO 3.4, so regression c) Currently I only see that problem with that particular document, other .doc open quite normal, so this seems not a MJOR problem. @dhoehns x) How has your document been created? It does not look like a valid .doc. @Edwin Sharp y) Please contribute info concerning your OS and adapt OS selector if necessary
Win 7 Pro SP1
