Description Rainer Bielefeld 2013-08-26 07:06:09 UTC
Currently (AOO 4.0.0) in menu 'File -> Open - Rightclick -> Delete' dialog there will appear a waring "Are your sure you want to delete the selected data?" Because of "Bug 77770 - built-in file dialog/picker deletes files permanently (bypassing trash) " that is not sufficient, information that that deletion will irreversiblbe (document will not be moved to Trash) is missing.

Suggestion: "Are you sure that you want to delete selected files permanently? There is no undo!"

This one is more or less an alternative or a temporary measure for Bug 77770

Maybe better fix behavior than message, i.e. normal delete from OpenOffice dialogs instead permanent delete?
Some people tend to ignore warning messages.
