Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 123126
Drop superfluous "Do not delete" button from AOO 'Confirm delete' dialog
Last modified: 2013-08-28 06:14:51 UTC
Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1516435 2013-08-24]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile: 0. Launch AOO 1. If necessary, from AOO Start Center in menu 'Tools -> Options -> OO -> General' check 2Use AOO File dialog" <ok> 2. Menu 'File -> Open' AOO 'Open' dialog appears 3. 'Rightclick any document (listed in the documents list pane) -> Delete' > 'Confirm Delete' dialog appears 4. <Do not delete> > Dialog closes without any action 5. 'Rightclick any document (listed in the documents list pane) -> Delete' > 'Confirm Delete' dialog appears 6. <Cancel> > Dialog closes without any action It seems both buttons do exactly the same (like <ESC>), so <Do not delete> button is superfluous and should be dropped from dialog. Additional info ---------------- a) Not a new problem, I see that superfluous button back until OOo 1.1.5 more early versions not tested) b) same on LibO 3.5.7.2 on Ubuntu (Virtualbox), so I think it's OS = All
IMHO drop the entire dialog feature. Rev. 1516794 Win 7
