I will add more detailed and corrected suggestions how to improve Help as attachment.

Not a new issue, already imprecise in OOo 3.1.1

Some time ago, an area about the included application help was started on the planning wiki --

It would be great to include your proposal there, and to get additional input from you (and others) concerning this area. You just need to apply for a cwiki account if you don't already have one.

@Rainer: This looks good for working on.

Volunteers: compare the attachment by Rainer (proposed fixes) with the table you get in Insert - Fields - Other - DocInformation - Help.

This can be solved in three steps:

1) Apply the corrections to existing entries (of course, "when when" is a typo and feel free to improve the language if needed). To find the right entries, a very good tool is OpenGrok: search the string in http://opengrok.adfinis-sygroup.org/source/ (select "aoo-trunk") and you will likely find the right line to be modified. This can lead to a first patch.

2) Reorder the table. This will require a second patch and we can come to that later.

3) Add a new entry to the table for "Custom". This will be the final step.

@oooforum: Translations have a different workflow. Once this is modified in the source code, English strings will be exported and Pootle will be updated. Only at that moment (during the 4.2 translation cycle) we will be able to translate the fixed strings.
